At Pleasant Street Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe that education is one of God’s greatest gifts. Through our Education Ministry Community Scholarship, we seek to encourage students who are pursuing higher education and preparing to make a positive difference in their families, communities, and the world.
Our goal is to invest not only in academic success, but also in character, leadership, perseverance, and service.
Scholarship Award
One (1) $700 Scholarship
The scholarship recipient will be recognized during the Pleasant Street Outdoor Worship Service in August.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
✔ Be a graduating high school senior.
✔ Plan to attend a college, university, community college, trade or technical school, apprenticeship, or military training.
✔ Demonstrate character, leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others.
✔ Live in our surrounding community.
Church membership is not required.
Application Requirements
Applicants should submit:
- Completed Scholarship Application
- 250–400 word essay
- Proof of graduation or enrollment
